Information About This Unit
In this unit, you and your child will listen to the story "Caps for Sale" told by a storyteller. Your child will answer questions about the story and narrate it by using activity cards to show comprehension. In addition, your child will learn about grouping like items together in different categories and will take part in several games and hands-on activities to practice this skill. Your child will also learn three new sight words: jump, little, look. This unit is intended to last for one week, depending on how often you teach language arts.
