Description of Learning Unit:
In this unit, you will listen to "A Swim: Frog and Toad are Friends" with your child. By comparing frogs and toads, making a swimming frog and toad, designing a diorama, and retelling the story with puppets, your child will understand the story and have fun. You will also talk about characters in stories and relate the concept to this week's story and various other stories. You child will also learn the sight words "stop, take, thank, and them." This unit is designed to last one week, depending on how often you teach language arts.
