Information About This Unit
Meet a lady who loves children, who lives in an upside down house, and who knows how to make work fun as you read "Mrs. Piggle Wiggle." Hands-on activities include drawing a portrait, designing an upside down house, creating a selfishness kit collage, and writing prescriptions for bad behavior. Writing assignmentsinclude writing about living in an upside down house, writing a picture book from a previous assignment, and writing about a visit to Mrs. Piggle Wiggle's house. In addition, your child will learn about the parts of a book. This unit is designed to last one week, depending on how often you teach language arts.
