Information About This Unit
Will Stuart find Margalo? You will have to read the final chapters to find out. The excitement is brisk in each chapter this week, so get ready to have more fun as you finish the book "Stuart Little." Tag along with Stuart as he sets out on a journey in his car, helps out as a substitute teacher, visits Ame's Crossing, and spends an evening on the river. You will have fun pretending to be a broadcaster as you describe an important scene over the television or radio, you will discuss rules and decide if your family needs rules and if so, what kind of rules. You will also find a lost scene that was intended to be in the original story. The language arts focus this week is on spelling. You will also write about Stuart's car breaking down with no way to get home, a time that you had to overcome obstacles to succeed, and about traveling in a time machine. Online games and printables as a video help reinforce this one week unit.
