Build a Plane:

  • Plane made from "Build a Plane" activity
  • Graph paper

  • A ruler or tape measure

Journal Entry:

  • Tablet writing paper or stationery

Map The Last Flight:

  • A blank world map (found in the Learning Tools section)
  • "Map The Last Flight" and both links for "Flight Route," found in the Resource section to help you draw the flight path

  • A ruler to help draw the lines on the map

Imagine what thoughts you (Amelia) might be thinking at this point in time. Be sure to mention some of the places you (Amelia) have been, as well as the final destination place.  

Things That Fly (no rating)

Have your child sketch examples of things in nature that fly (seeds, birds, insects, etc.) Sit outside and observe things in the air before beginning to sketch.
